Ahsoka Tano, a Jedi knight who made her first appearance in the franchise in 2008, was played by Rosario Dawson in a recent guest-starring role on the hit Lucasfilm show THE MANDALORIAN. This memorably regal heroine of the franchise’s “galaxy far, far away” was an obvious choice for the New Zealand Mint’s collection commemorating that program, issued on behalf of the Polynesian free-association dependency of Niue.
