In 2014 and 2015, Perth Mint issued two separate three-coin collections honoring the major gods and goddesses of Greek mythology. Those same designs are now available in the Antique Tuvalu Gods of Olympus six-coin series. With the relaunch of the designs in the Tuvalu Gods of Olympus Series, Perth Mint is expanding the availability of the images in this collection. The original Gods of Olympus and Goddesses of Olympus Series offered only 2 oz silver coins with an antique polish for each release. The new, combined six-coin series features five options in total.

Each deity will appear in the same order as the original collections, from Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades to Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite. This time around, Perth Mint offers 1 oz and 5 oz silver coins alongside a 1 oz gold coin. The options include 1 oz silver BU, 1 oz gold BU, and 5 oz silver BU coins, along with 1 oz antique silver and 5 oz antique silver.

Queen Elizabeth II is on the obverse side of 2021 5 oz Gods of Olympus Poseidon Silver Coins. This portrait of the Queen was created in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley for the Royal Mint and served as the fourth-generation portrait of the Queen on British currency.

Poseidon is depicted in the reverse design of the 2021 Antique Tuvalu Gods of Olympus Poseidon Silver Coins. This design casts a powerful image of Poseidon as he rides the waves on his chariot with a trident in hand and dolphins swimming in the waves behind his figure.
